WhatsApp - Upload Up To 1-Minute Video Status Updates

WhatsApp Unveils 1-Minute Video Status Updates

WhatsApp is dedicated to enhancing user experience, consistently rolling out upgrades in recent months.

The platform has seen significant improvements, from the introduction of WhatsApp channels to substantial UI changes, indicating a continued commitment to innovation.

In response to user demands, WhatsApp has now unveiled a highly anticipated feature: the ability to upload one-minute video clips to status updates.

For a while, users have been urging WhatsApp to extend the previous 30-second limit on video uploads, and the platform has listened.

WhatsApp is aligning with user feedback by introducing the option for one-minute videos on its status feature, mirroring the functionality of platforms like Instagram.

According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp is currently testing this feature, which will enable users to seamlessly add one-minute videos to their status updates.

With this update, users will no longer need to crop or shorten their videos to fit the 30-second limit. WhatsApp will automatically split longer videos into 60-second segments.

Here's how you can utilize this new feature:

1. Open the WhatsApp application on your Android or iOS device.

2. Navigate to the 'Status' section and select the 'My Status' icon to upload a video.

3. Choose the video you want to upload and ensure it does not exceed one minute in length.

4. Once selected, upload the video to your status, allowing your contacts to view it.

This enhancement is set to provide users with more flexibility and creativity in expressing themselves through WhatsApp status updates.
